Abstract:

Absolventská práce se zabývá rolí interkulturního pracovníka při práci s cizinci v České republice. Cílem mé absolventské práce je charakterizovat úlohu a postavení interkulturního pracovníka při práci s cizinci a zjistit jaké kompetence a znalosti potřebuje pro výkon své profese. Nejprve jsem se zaměřila na migrační situaci v ČR od roku 1989 po současnost, kdy se postupně začala na českém území etablovat a formovat specializace interkulturní práce. Této disciplíně v rámci pomáhajících profesí se věnuji ve druhé kapitole, kde se soustředím na její definici, cíle, ideová východiska, přístupy, etické hodnoty a zásady, jelikož jsou důležité pro výkon interkulturní práce. Následující kapitolu jsem věnovala profesi interkulturního pracovníka, kde jsem se nejprve zaměřila na vymezení tohoto pojmu a poté jsem se zabývala jeho pracovní náplní, rolemi, jenž interkulturní pracovník při práci s cizinci zastává a kompetencemi i znalostmi, které musí mít pro výkon své profese. V empirické části absolventské práce jsem analyzovala data z výzkumu, který se zaměřoval na roli interkulturního pracovníka při práci s cizinci. Konkrétně jsem zjišťovala jejich úlohu, postavení, kompetence a znalosti, které musí mít pro výkon své profese.

Abstract:

The graduation thesis deals with the role of intercultural worker when working with foreigners in the Czech Republic. The aim of my graduation thesis is to characterize the role and position of the intercultural worker in working with foreigners and to find out what competences and knowledge he needs to perform his profession. Firstly, I focused on the migration situation in the Czech Republic from 1989 to the present, when the specialisation of intercultural work gradually began to be established in the Czech Republic. I deal with this discipline within the helping professions in chapter 2, where I focus on a definition, goals, ideological underpinnings, approaches, ethical values and principles as they are relevant to the practice of intercultural work. In the following chapter I paid attention to the profession of intercultural worker, where I first focused on the definition of this term and then I dealt with its job description, the roles an intercultural worker plays when working with foreigners and the competences also the knowledges he must have to perform his profession. In the empirical part of my graduate thesis I analysed data from a research which was focused on the role of the intercultural worker while working with foreigners. Specifically, I investigated their role, position, competencies and knowledge they must have to perform their profession.
