Government Budget and Inflation: Impacts

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o dopadech inflace na státní rozpočty. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První část přináší teoretická východiska k problematice státních rozpočtů a inflace. Druhá praktická část je věnována analýze dat z pěti vybraných států během desetiletého období. Analyzovány s ohledem na inflaci a ekonomický vývoj jsou příjmy a výdaje státních rozpočtů a jejich dílčí části a také státní dluh. Všechna zjištění jsou dále porovnána s teoretickými předpoklady. Závěr práce přináší zhodnocení předchozích zjištění a shrnuje problematiku dopadů inflace na státní rozpočty.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis discusses the effects of inflation on government budgets. The work is divided into two parts. The first part brings theoretical basis to the issue of state budgets and inflation. The second practical part is devoted to the analysis of data from five selected states during a ten-year period. Income and expenditure of government budgets and their sub-parts, as well as state debt, are analyzed with regard to inflation and economic development. All findings are further compared with theoretical premises. The conclusion of the thesis provides an evaluation of previous findings and summarizes the issue of the impact of inflation on government budgets.
