Trainee programme in selected company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá trainee programem ve vybrané společnosti. Cílem diplomové práce bylo identifikovat silné a slabé stránky programu a následně stanovit doporučení pro jejich zmírnění. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části. Na teoretickou část, ve které jsou teoretická východiska z dané oblasti. Konkrétně talent managment, trainee programy a personální činnosti s nimi spojené. Tato část vychází z odborné literatury. V praktické části je nejprve představena společnost Unicredit Bank a následuje analýza trainee programu ve společnosti. Analýza je provedena na základě interních materiálů, internetových stránek společnosti a rozhovoru se zaměstnankyní personálního oddělení. Následuje zhodnocení trainee programu z pohledu účastníků, které proběhlo na základě dotazníkového šetření. V závěru práce jsou stanovena doporučení a návrhy, který by měly vést ke zlepšení fungování trainee programu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the trainee program in a selected company. The aim of the thesis was to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the program and then to determine recommendations for mitigating them. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part, which provides the theoretical background of the field. Specifically, talent management, trainee programs and HR activities. This part is based on literature. The practical part first introduces Unicredit Bank and is followed by an analysis of the trainee programme in the company. The analysis is based on internal materials, the company's website and an interview with an employee of the HR department. This is followed by an evaluation of the trainee programme from the perspective of the participants, based on a questionnaire survey. In the end concludes with recommendations and suggestions that should lead to the improvement of the trainee programme.
