The characteristic and budget of semi-budgetary organizations with a specific example of the Observatory and Planetarium of Pilsen

Abstract:

Předložená práce se zabývá neziskovým sektorem se zaměřením na příspěvkové organizace, přičemž aplikuje teoretické poznatky na konkrétním příkladu Hvězdárny a planetária města Plzeň. V úvodu je představen neziskový sektor obecně a jsou uvedeny základní specifika příspěvkových organizací, poté se práce zabývá jejich jednotlivými aspekty účetnictví s uvedením konkrétních příkladů z chodu organizace H+P Plzeň. V praktické části jsou popsány a analyzovány problémy této organizace, u některých z nich jsou uvedeny jejich případné návrhy řešení.

Abstract:

The presented work describes the sector of non-profit organizations with the focus on the characteristic of semi-budgetary organizations. Equally it applies the theoretical knowledge onto the specific example of the organization Observatory and planetarium of Pilsen. In the introduction, the sector of non-profit organizations is presented in general and there is a list of the basic specifications of semi-budgetary organizations. The core of the work is based on their accountancy with the practical examples from the chosen organization. The practical part of this work presents and analyzes the problems of this organization; some of those are followed with their possible solutions.
