Abandoned mines - problem or historical monument?

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je založená na tématu zachování kulturních průmyslových památek, především opuštěných (starých) dolů. První část je věnována popisu celkové situace v oblasti starých důlních děl, kde popisuji situaci a využití starých důlních děl v jiných zemích. Druhá část popisuje (historickou) zkušenost s tématem v české legislativě. Poslední část je o koncepcích řešení, která mohou změnit osud mnoha historicky cenných technicko-kulturních památek, jako jsou staré (opuštěné) doly. Představuji tři typy projektů, kde jsou opuštěné doly využité jako prostor pro realizaci užitečných záměrů. První typ projektu představuje ochranu starého dolu před nevhodným zpřístupněním. Naopak druhý typ pak představuje vhodné zpřístupnění starého lomu a třetí typ projektu představuje transformaci starého dolu v turistické centrum.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is based on the topic of the preservation of cultural industrial sights, especially of abandoned (old) mines. The first part is devoted to the description of the overall situation in the old mining cannons. The situation and the use of the old mining cannons in other countries is described there as well. The second part depicts (historical) experience with this topic in the Czech legislation. The last part is about conceptual solutions which can change the future of many valuable technically-cultural sights, for example the old (abandoned) mines. Three types of projects, where the abandoned mines are used as room for the implementation of useful purposes, are introduced. The first part of the project represents the protection of an old mine against an unsuitable accessibility. On the contrary, the second type symbolizes a suitable accessibility of an old quarry and the third type introduces the transformation of an old mine into a tourist centre.
