Family Business

Abstract:

Rodinné podniky jsou velmi významnou součástí národních ekonomik. V České republice velká řada českých rodinných podniků vznikla po tzv. Sametové revoluci a nyní čelí poměrně velké výzvě, kterou je mezigenerační předání. Proto je zvolené téma velice aktuální, byť rozsah dostupných teoretických východisek prozatím není zcela dostačující. Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice rodinného podnikání jako celku. Důraz je kladen na jeho velmi významnou oblast - generační výměnu a nástupnictví. Cílem práce je zmapovat tento proces v konkrétním rodinném podniku. Dále navrhnout vhodné kroky, díky kterým by vybraná firma mohla úspěšně zvládnout mezigenerační předání. Teoretická část práce rozvádí dostupné teoretické a vědecké poznatky v oblasti rodinného podnikání. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na analýzu rodinné firmy 3K značky s.r.o. Jsou zde představeny její specifické oblasti a stav v rámci generační výměny v podniku. Předání podniku v analyzované společnosti proběhlo částečně. Pro naplnění druhého cíle práce je posléze navržen model předání pro daný podnik.

Abstract:

Family businesses are a major part of national economies across the world. A large number of Czech family businesses were created after the 1989 Velvet Revolution and now face enormous challenges as they begin the process of handing over the duties of these firms to the next generation. The theoretical part will draw on a wide range of theoretical and empirical literature in the area of family run businesses to provide a framework that will be used to explain the transfer of duties in the case study, the family run company 3K značky s.r.o. The practical part of the thesis will reconstruct and analyse the transfer of responsibilities in 3K značky s.r.o. That part will also design a model using some of the concepts in the theoretical literature that could have facilitated a smooth transfer of duties between generations in 3K značky s.r.o.
