Diplomová práce hodnotí hospodaření s veřejnými prostředky u Ministerstva obrany. Za účelem splnění tohoto cíle byla provedena literární rešerše v oblasti veřejné správy se zaměřením na rozpočet a finanční kontrolu a tato všeobecná část byla doplněna rešerší z vnitřních dokumentů Ministerstva obrany.
