Valuation methods in accounting and their impact on business value

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce ?Metody oceňování v účetnictví a jejich vliv na hodnotu podniku? analyzuje varianty pro stanovení hodnoty podniku jak z hlediska teorie, tak i v praktickém příkladu. V první části je práce zaměřena na základy pro ocenění podniku, konkrétně na definici podniku, důvody ocenění, vymezení metod oceňování v účetnictví a metod oceňování podniku a postupů pro oceňování. Dále hlouběji charakterizuji jednotlivé metody ocenění, metody výnosové, majetkové a tržní a dále jejich hlubší členění. Poslední část je praktická a je zde pomocí vybraných metod stanovena hodnota konkrétní společnosti.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis "Methods of valuation in accounting and their impact on the enterprise value" analyzes the options for fixing the value of the company in terms of both theory and practical example. In the first part the thesis is focused on the basics of business valuation - particularly on definition of the business, reasons of the valuation, demarcation of methods in accounting and methods of business valuation and its procedures. Furthermore, there is provided a deeper characteristic of particular valuation methods, yield methods for valuation property and the market and their further dividing. The last part of the thesis is practical and there is determined the value of a specific company by chosen methods of valuation.
