Teachers' Beliefs of Lesson in Selected Alternative Education

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá pojetím výuky učitelů, kteří působí v alternativních školách. Charakter práce je teoreticko-empirický. Teoretická část vymezuje pojem alternativní škola, zabývá se historií a příčinou vzniku alternativních škol a uvádí jednotlivé typy škol spadající pod uvedené označení. Poté se věnuje pojmu učitelovo pojetí výuky, jeho struktuře v podobě jednotlivých složek a doposud realizovaným výzkumům v souvislosti s problematikou učitelova pojetí výuky. Následuje praktická část, jejímž cílem je zjistit pojetí výuky učitelů vybraných alternativních škol. Metody použité pro kvalitativně orientovaný výzkum jsou rozhovor a technika nedokončených vět. Výsledky ukazují charakter pojetí výuky učitelů vybraných alternativních škol, která jsou specifická zejména zájmem o žáky, respektujícím přístupem k nim a určitou mírou poskytované svobody v oblasti učení. Bylo zjištěno, že uvedené charakteristiky se promítají do všech složek pojetí výuky učitelů. Závěrečná část práce uvádí přínos výsledků pro praxi učitelů 1. stupně základní školy.

Abstract:

The presented Master's thesis deals with the concept of teachers' beliefs of lesson, who work in sphere of alternative education. The character of thesis is theoretical-empirical. The theoretical part defines the concept of alternative education, deals with the history and cause of the creation of alternative education and lists the different types of schools falling under that designation. Furthermore, it deals with the concept of the teacher's belief of lesson, its structure in the form of individual components and the conducted research associated with the teacher's belief of lesson. Following part of the thesis is the empirical part with the aim to find out teachers' beliefs of lesson in the selected alternative education. The methods used for qualitative research are the interview and incomplete sentence technique. The results show the character of teachers' beliefs of lesson in selected alternative education, which are specific especially for the interest in student, respectful approach to them and a certain degree of freedom to learn. It was proved that the mentioned characteristics are reflected in all components of the teachers' beliefs of lesson. The final part of the thesis presents the contribution of the results to the practise of primary school teachers.
