Ergonomic measures for a motocross rider with spastic quadriparesis

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá ergonomickou úpravou motocyklu pro klienta se spinálním poraněním. V teoretické části je popsána funkční anatomie páteře a míchy, míšní poranění a jejich specifika včetně klinické symptomatologie a vybraných komplikací. Kapitola ergonomie se zaměřuje na charakteristiku ergonomie nevyjímaje jejího vztahu s ergoterapií a polohu těla jezdců v motokrosu. V poslední kapitole teoretické části je definován sport, typologie sportovních aktivit, motokros a jeho vliv na lidské tělo. Praktická část obsahuje kazuistiku klienta se spinálním poraněním, na základě které je zhotovena analýza motokrosových tratí za účelem výběru vhodného úseku pro tréninkovou jízdu. Dále je doporučeno vhodné bezpečnostní vybavení v motokrosu a provedena ergonomická úprava motocyklu. Cílem bakalářské práce je na základě vyšetření klienta navrhnout ergonomii motocyklu včetně doporučení bezpečnostních prvků v motokrosu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with ergonomic adjustment of the motorbike for a client with spinal cord injury. In the theoretical part there are described functional anatomy of a spine and cord, spinal cord injury and their specifics including clinical symptomatology and chosen complications. The Chapter Ergonomics is focused on the characteristics of ergonomics including its relationship with occupational therapy and the body position of the motocross drivers. The sport, typology of sport activities, motocross and its influence on the human body is described in the final chapter of the theoretical part. Practical part of the thesis contains case study of the client with spinal cord injury. The analysis of the motocross tracks for the purpose of choosing the most suitable one for a training is based on this case study. Furthermore, the suitable safety features in motocross and possible adjustments of the motorbike are recommended. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design ergonomics including safety features recommendation based on the examination of the client.
