The Spanish-Czech lexicography in the 20th century

Abstract:

The aim of this work was to gather all the information about the Spanish-Czech lexicography in the 20th century, to compare similar Spanish-Czech dictionaries and to find out if they satisfy the requirements of the modern bilingual dictionaries. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part at first we dealt with lexicography and a dictionary in general, then we focused on the bilingual dictionaries, examining its macrostructure and microstructure. In the practical part we analysed thirteen Spanish-Czech dictionaries, describing its macrostructure and microstructure and comparing them. At the end of the work we presented the results of the practical analysis, stating positive and negative findings in the macrostructure and microstructure.

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo shromáždit veškeré poznatky o španělsko-české lexikografii 20. století, srovnat podobné španělsko-české slovníky a zjistit, zda naplňují požadavky na moderní dvojjazyčné slovníky. Naše práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsme se zpočátku zabývali lexikografií a slovníky obecně, potom jsme se zaměřili na dvojjazyčné slovníky a zkoumali jsme jejich makrostrukturu a mikrostrukturu. V praktické části jsme analyzovali třináct španělsko-českých slovníků, popisovali jsme jejich makrostrukturu a mikrostrukturu a srovnávali je. Na závěr práce jsme předložili výsledky praktické analýzy s uvedením pozitivních a negativních nálezů v makrostruktuře a mikrostruktuře.
