Econometric analysis of the results of the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic 2017

Anotace:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá ekonometrickou analýzou voleb do Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu ČR v roce 2017. Cílem práce je zjištění, zda se voliči při těchto volbách řídili volebními programy kandidujících politických subjektů na základě demografické, sociální a ekonomické situace ve svém okresu. Úvod práce popisuje volby do Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu ČR a jejich právní úpravu v zákoně č. 247/1995 Sb. Teoretická část obsahuje teoretické předpoklady, které musí použité modely splňovat, a teoretický popis ekonometrických modelů a testů, které byly v této práci využity. Úvod praktické části se zabývá stručným popisem historie jednotlivých politických stran a hnutí, které se dostaly do Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu ČR v roce 2017. Na základě jejich volebních programů k těmto volbám jsou stanoveny jednotlivé hypotézy a následně jsou vytvořené modely testovány z hlediska předpokladů, které musí splňovat. Závěr praktické části se soustředí na podrobnou verifikaci stanovených hypotéz na základě výše zmíněných ekonometrických metod.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with an econometric analysis of the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2017. The aim of the thesis is to ascertain whether the voters in these elections considered the election programmes of the candidate political entities based on the demographic, social and economic situation in their district. The introduction describes the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, their legal regulation is described in Act No. 247/1995 Coll. The theoretical part describes, in theory, the assumptions with which the used models must comply, and econometric models and tests used in this thesis. The practical part, at first, briefly describes the history of individual political parties and movements that entered the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2017. Based on their election programmes for these elections, individual hypotheses are determined and subsequently the created models are tested for the assumptions necessary to comply with. At the end of the practical part, verification of the established hypotheses based on the above-mentioned econometric methods is presented.
