Cílem práce je popsat klíčové oblasti Iránské ekonomiky včetně jejich vývoje od Iránské islámské revoluce a poté ukázat vliv sankcí uvalených na tuto ekonomiku od nástupu Mahmúda Ahmadínežáda k moci. První část popisuje ekonomicky vývoj od islámské revoluce do nástupu Mahmúda Ahmadínežáda v roce 2005. Druhá část se věnuje sankcím, které byly na Írán uvaleny mezi lety 1979 – 2005. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe key areas of Iran's economy, including the development after Iranian Islamic Revolution, and show the impact of economic sanctions imposed on the country after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad took the office of the president of Iran.
