The evaluation of CSR in particular business as a basis for non-financial audit creation

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématy společenské odpovědnosti firem (CSR) a nefinančního reportingu. První část práce vychází ze současné odborné literatury a vymezuje dané pojmy. Druhá část práce se zabývá společenskou odpovědností a jejím hodnocením v konkrétní společnosti. Cílem práce je zhodnotit CSR skupiny B. Braun v České a Slovenské republice a podat ucelený přehled společensky odpovědných aktivit této firmy, který bude sloužit jako jeden z podkladů pro tvorbu nefinančního auditu v roce 2018. K hodnocení bude využita metoda KORP, která je nejčastější metodou hodnocení CSR v České republice.

Abstract:

Throughout this diploma thesis, I will discuss corporate social responsibility (CSR) and non-financial reporting. The first section of the thesis is based on current professional literature, as it defines key terms relating to CSR and non-financial reporting. The second section discusses social responsibility and its assessment in a particular company. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate CSR in B. Braun. I will give a comprehensive overview of its socially responsible activities, which will serve as one of the bases for the creation of a non-financial audit in 2018. The KORP method, which is the most common method of CSR assessments in the Czech Republic, will be used in the evaluation.
