Abstract:
Biofilm je společenstvo mikroorganismů uchycené k určitému povrchu, uložené v extracelulární matrix, což je hmota, kterou si toto společenstvo samo aktivně vytváří. Podle zprávy National Institutes of Health z roku 2007 je až 80 % infekcí člověka spojeno s biofilmy.
