Possibilities of Social and Educational Support for Children with Behavioral Disorders by the Authorities for Social and Legal Protection of Children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je tematicky orientována na problematiku možností sociálně pedagogického působení na děti s rizikovými projevy v chování, které jsou v evidenci orgánu sociálně právní ochrany dětí (kurátorů pro děti a mládež). Zvláštní pozornost je věnována institutu víkendových pobytů zacílených na uvedenou skupinu dětí. Teoretická východiska práce zahrnují problematiku normy a normality v chování, problematiku rizikového chování a poruch chování, včetně jejich možných příčin, důsledků a zároveň mechanismů prevence. Pozornost je věnována rovněž problematice práce orgánů sociálně právní ochrany dítěte ve vztahu ke zmíněné cílové skupině. Součástí práce je prezentace kvalitativně orientovaného výzkumného šetření zacíleného na kritickou obsahovou analýzu aktivit realizovaných víkendových pobytů, případně dalších mechanismů sociálně pedagogické podpory realizované orgány SPOD či dalšími subjekty, ve vztahu k dětem s rizikovými projevy v chování. Výstupem práce je formulace strukturovaných doporučení pro možné zkvalitnění dosud využívaných postupů, aktivit a organizace činnosti ve zkoumané oblasti a návrhy pro úpravu Metodické příručky pro pracovníky orgánu sociálně právní ochrany dětí obecních úřadů obcí s rozšířenou působností v Ústeckém kraji.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the possibility of the educational effect on children with risk behavior issues, those who are kept in the records of the authorities from the Institute for Social and Legal Protection of Children (curators for children and youth). Special attention is paid to the activities of the Institute during weekend stays that are specifically aimed at that group of children. Theoretical solutions of the thesis cover the issues of norm and normality in behavior, problematics of risky behavior and behavioral disorders including their possible causes, consequences and prevention mechanisms. Similar attention is paid to the work of the authorities in relation to the targeted group. Part of the thesis is oriented on the presentation of the research targeted at the critical area of activities during weekend stays and other mechanisms that are used by the staff from the Institute of Social and Legal Protection of Children, specifically on children diagnosed with risk behavior during those stays. Result of my thesis is a formulation of structured recommendations for possible improvements of procedures used to date and activities of the researched area. It also includes suggestions on how to improve the Staff Handbook of the Institute for Social and Legal Protection of Children in each municipal office in the Usti region.
