The Impact of Institutionalisation on the Participants of Foreign Military Missions

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem institucionalizace na příslušníky organizace, kterou je v tomto případě armáda a její vojenské mise. V teoretické části jsou definovány pojmy a jevy, které z institucionalizací přímo souvisí, včetně propojení s armádou a sociální pedagogikou. Podrobněji se pak věnujeme totálním - vojenským institucím. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit, jaký vliv má institucionalizace na příslušníky armádní vrtulníkové jednotky přímo v podmínkách vojenské mise. Pomocí výzkumných otázek na souboru záměrně vybraných respondentů, je snahou získat informace o dopadech institucionalizace, sociální izolaci a mezilidských vztazích ve specifickém prostředí, včetně role sociálního pedagoga. Vzhledem k povaze zvoleného tématu provádíme šetření kvalitativním výzkumem, dotazovací metodou formou interview, pomocí něhož hledáme a zjišťujeme individuální subjektivní názory válečných veteránů, které vedou k hlubšímu poznání zkoumaného jevu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of institutionalization on the members of the organization, which, in this case, is the army and its military mission. In its theoretical part, concepts and phenomena directly relating to institutionalization are defined. They include connections with the army and social education. In more detail, then, we focus on total - military institutions. The aim of the research is to determine what is the influence of institutionalization on the members of the army helicopter units - directly in conditions of the military mission. Using the research questions on a set of purposefully selected respondents, the objective is to get information about the effects of institutionalization, social isolation and interpersonal relations in a specific environment, including the role of social educator. Due to the nature of the selected topic, we carry out the investigation by means of qualitative research, a query method in the form of an interview. We are seeking and learning about the individual subjective views of war veterans, which leads to a deeper understanding of the investigated phenomenon.
