Economic Authonomy of Municipalities

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce „Ekonomická autonomie obcí“ je podrobně prozkoumat a kriticky zhodnotit možnosti, které má obec při získávání daňových příjmů a zda je naplněna ekonomická autonomie obcí. Teoretická část je zaměřena na analýzu vlastních daňových příjmů obcí, zejména na daň z nemovitostí a místní poplatky. V praktické části jsou porovnány daňové příjmy města Tišnova a slovenského města Moldava nad Bodvou, která je velikostně srovnatelná a je družebním městem Tišnova.

Abstract:

The goal of the bachelor thesis “Economic authonomy of municipalities” is to closely examine and critically sum up possibilities, that a municipality has in obtaining tax revenues, and whether the economic authonomy of municipalities is implemented. The theoretical part is focused on analysis of own tax revenues of municipalities, especially real estate tax and municipal charges. In the practical part, the tax renenues of the two concrete towns are compared, town Tišnov and Slovak town Moldava nad Bodvou, which is of the comparable size and is a twin-town of Tišnov.
