Analysis of the Business Project in the Chosen FIeld and his Draft Revision

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza podnikatelského projektu společnosti United Bakeries a.s., která je zaměřena na výrobu a distribuci čerstvého pečiva, za období let 2008 až 2012 a návrh podnikatelského projektu na další pětileté období, tj. na léta 2013 až 2017. První (teoretická) část diplomové práce se zabývá obecnou problematikou tvorby podnikatelského projektu se zaměřením na již podnikající společnost a jsou zde uvedeny vybrané ukazatele, které se používají k hodnocení společnosti z ekonomického hlediska, přičemž jsou zde zmíněny ukazatele, vycházející z finančních výkazů (rozvaha, výkaz zisku a ztráty, přehled o finančních tocích) i ukazatele, které si společnost United Bakeries a.s. během svého působení vytvořila pro interní hodnocení a kontrolu hospodaření. Praktická část je rozdělena na dvě oblasti – v první je za použití vybraných ukazatelů hodnocen podnikatelský projekt za uplynulé období (v letech 2008 až 2012) s cílem posoudit vývoj těchto ukazatelů v časové řadě a porovnat je s doporučenými hodnotami a ve druhé oblasti je zpracován podnikatelský projekt na další období (na léta 2013 až 2017) se zaměřením na doplnění výrobního sortimentu o mražené pečivo, určené k dopékání u odběratelů. V závěrečné pasáži diplomové práce jsou navržena kritéria pro průběžné hodnocení zpracovaného podnikatelského projektu a rovněž jsou zde uvedena manažerská doporučení k realizaci tohoto projektu.

Abstract:

The aim of this theses is to analyse the business project of the stock company United Bakeries a.s., which focuses on fresh bread and bakery goods production and distribution in the period from 2008 to 2012 and a business project proposal for the following five-year term, that is from 2013 to 2017. The first (theoretical) part the theses deals with the general issues of business project creation with concentration on an established, business pursuing company. Various selected indicators mentioned therein are used for evaluation of the company from the economic point of view.. At the same time, there are mentioned indicators arising from financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss account, overview of financial flows) as well as indicators which the company United Bakeries a.s. developped during its business operations for internal evaluation and checking of economic results. The practical part is devided into two areas – in the first one, while using chosen indicators, is evaluated the business project in the past period (from 2008 to 2012) with the aim of assessing the development of these indicators on the time line and comparing them with recommended values. In the second area, the business project for the following period (from 2013 to 2017) is processed with focus on extention of the range of products to include frozen breadstuff intended for final baking-up at the customers' premises. In the closing part of the theses are suggested criteria for continuous evaluation of the processed business project as well as there are mentioned managerial recommendations for realization of the project.
