Financial analysis of selected company

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je finanční analýza vybrané firmy. Tato analýza je součást finančního řízení podniku a je pro něj velmi důležitá, protože mu umožňuje zjistit finanční stabilitu. Ve své práci zhodnotím pomocí finanční analýzy firmu JENA nábytek, s. r. o., která je předním českým prodejcem kompletního sortimentu nábytku a bytových doplňků. Vypracuji finanční analýzu za posledních pět let podnikání, od roku 2009 do roku 2013. Tato práce se dělí na dvě části, teoreticko-metodologickou a aplikační. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy, které se pojí s finanční analýzou, její postupy a metody. Ve druhé části práce aplikuji teoretické znalosti a budu se zabývat horizontální a vertikální analýzou účetních výkazů. Pomocí výpočtu jednotlivých ukazatelů analýzy rozdílových a absolutních ukazatelů vyhodnotím finanční situaci ve firmě. Z dosažených výsledků poté zjistím, jaké je finanční zdraví podniku a navrhnu opatření, které by mohli vést ke zlepšení hospodaření firmy.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I deal with the financial analysis of the particular company. This analysis takes part in the financial administration of the company and it is the real important aspect because of the financial stability detection. In my work I evaluate the company JENA nábytek, s. r. o., which is the one of the main Czech sellers of furniture and house accessories. I evolve the financial analysis from last five years - from year 2009 to 2013. This bachelor thesis has two parts - the theoretical-methodological part and the practical part. In the theoretical part are explained the main terms, which are connected with the financial analysis and it's processes and methods. In the second part I apply the theoretical knowledge and deal with the horizontal and vertical analysis of the accountant's list. I evaluate the financial situation in the company with the help of calculation of each analysis indicator. I found out via achieved results, how the company is going through the point of view of the financial health. At the end I suggest some arrangements, which can conduct better economy of the company.
