Fuzzy Relations and Their Applications

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou relací fuzzy množin. Cílem této práce je aplikovat jednotlivé typy kompozic fuzzy relací na úlohu týkající se lékařského odvětví, a to s konkrétními daty získanými z nemocniční laboratoře. Nejdříve si připomeneme klasické množiny a operace s nimi, poté nadefinujeme základní pojmy z teorie fuzzy množin a jejich vlastnosti. Dále se budeme věnovat tématu fuzzy relací a uvedeme si základní typy jejich kompozic. Následovat bude krátká kapitola o evaluačních lingvistických výrazech. V aplikační části se nejdříve budeme věnovat formulaci a fuzzifikaci daného medicínského problému. Na získaná data aplikujeme jednotlivé typy kompozic fuzzy relací, nakonec porovnáme a okomentujeme jejich výsledky.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of fuzzy relations. The aim of this thesis is to apply each type of compositions of fuzzy relations to a problem regarding the medical branch using real data obtained from a hospital laboratory. First, we will recall classical sets and operations on them. Second, we will define basic notions and their properties of the fuzzy set theory. Then we will deal with the topic of fuzzy relations and introduce basic types of their compositions. A short chapter regarding evalutative linguistic variable will follow. In the practical part of the thesis we will first look into the formulation and fuzzification of the given medical problem. We will aplly each type of compositions of fuzzy relations to our obtained data. Finally, we will compare and discuss the results.
