Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the religious life and pilgrimage of the Velké Meziříčí deanery during the 20th century. Velké Meziříčí is still perceived as a strongly religious region within the Czech state, which can often be seen in the frequency of pilgrimage processions, so the thesis focuses on the impact of 20th century events on this pilgrimage tradition and religiosity in general.
