Changes in fiscal and monetary policy in the EU during the crisis

Abstract:

The aim of my thesis is a preview and analysis of the changes that occurred in fiscal and monetary policy of the EU in times of crisis. The work will be included in the various parts of the issue of monetary and fiscal policy, as its theoretical definition, the instruments used and the objectives it seeks to achieve. Will be perceived by the general terms and their subsequent developments within the European Union. The work is devoted to the historical development of the EU's various stages, until the present with the current economic situation. Working on the basis of the information and knowledge to assess the effectiveness and proper choice of selected tools and measures to address the problems causing the current crisis in the EU. Express their views on it and possible ways to deal with the situation in Europe. The final part will be dedicated direction of fiscal and monetary policy in the EU, it will be given to dismantling the changes that occurred in the EU, thus the current crisis, which member states at that time weakens. Next I will discuss tools and measures have been used to solve the situation and possible future actions, so that we can avoid repeating the same mistakes.

Abstract:

Cieľom mojej diplomovej práce je náhľad a rozbor zmien, ktoré nastali vo fiškálnej a monetárnej politike EÚ v období krízy. V práci bude obsiahnutá v jej jednotlivých častiach problematika monetárnej a fiškálnej politiky, ako jej teoretické vymedzenie, tak nástroje, ktoré používa a ciele, ktoré sa snaží dosiahnuť. Ponímaná bude z všeobecného hľadiska a následné ich vývoj v rámci Európskej únie. Práca je venovaná historickému vývoju EÚ, jeho jednotlivým etapám, až po súčasnosť s aktuálnou ekonomickou situáciou. Práca na základe získaných informácií a poznatkov posudzuje efektívnosť a správnu voľbu zvolených nástrojov a opatrení na riešenie vzniknutých problémov spôsobujúcich súčasnú krízu v EÚ. Vyjadrujem v nej svoje názory a spôsoby možných riešení danej situácie v Európe. Záver práce bude venovaný smerovaniu fiškálnej a monetárnej politiky v EÚ, budem sa v ňom venovať rozoberaniu zmien, ktoré nastali v EÚ, teda súčasnú krízu, ktorá členské krajiny v tomto období oslabuje. Ďalej sa budem venovať nástrojom a opatreniam, ktoré boli použité pre riešenie vzniknutej situácie i možným opatreniam do budúcnosti, aby sme sa mohli vyvarovať opakovaniu rovnakých chýb.
