Teacher's Reflection and its Form in Pedagogical Practice

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou reflektivního myšlení budoucích a stávajících učitelů, se zaměřením na učitele tělesné výchovy. V teoretické části práce je skrze profesní standardy a odbornou literaturu identifikována reflexe jako adekvátní nástroj pro úspěšné řešení těžko předvídatelných situací, které jsou každodenní součástí učitelovi praxe. Optikou několika vybraných rámců jsou problematizovány různé úrovně reflektivního myšlení. Probírán je dále obsah profese učitele, a to prostřednictvím teorie oficiálního a skrytého kurikula, v kontextu reflektivní praxe. V empirické části textu je po metodologickém ukotvení rozebrán výzkumný problém práce, kterým je reflektivní myšlení zkušených učitelů tělesné výchovy na základní škole. Záměrem kvalitativního výzkumu je získat data z bezprostřední pedagogické praxe, která mohou sloužit jako jedno z východisek pro realizaci reflektivní výuky v rámci vzdělávání budoucích učitelů tělesné výchovy.

Abstract:

The thesis is concerned with issues of reflective thinking of current and preservice teachers with respect to teachers of physical education classes. In the theoretical part, reflection is identified as a possible solution of common as well as highly unpredictable situations in the practice of teachers through professional standards and relevant literature. Different levels of reflective thinking are dealt with by several selected reflective frameworks. Furthermore, the content of teacher work is put under investigation using the theory of official and hidden curriculum in the context of reflective practice. In the empirical part, the research content is firstly anchored in methodology and secondly, the research problem of the thesis is dealt with, i.e. reflective thinking of experienced PE secondary school teachers. The intention of the qualitative research part is to gather data coming from real pedagogical practice of interviewed teachers. Such data can serve as possible starting point for preservice PE teachers education leading to their reflective thinking education approach.
