Diplomová práce teoreticky a empiricky analyzuje vztah mezi tržní hodnotou a výkonností hráčů působících v nejvyšší anglické fotbalové soutěži Premier League. Vytvořený model odhaluje deviace v uvažovaném vztahu. Práce přichází s empiricky ověřenými závěry, že hráči, nastupující za nejvíce profitabilní týmy soutěže, mohou očekávat narůst své tržní hodnoty. Abstract:
The thesis focuses on theoretical and empirical analysis of Premier League football players´ market value based on their performance. The theoretical model discloses deviations within the afore-mentioned relationship. The thesis provides robust empirical results of higher market value relating to a player´s team.
