Migration and Migration Policy in the World

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem migrace a světové migrační politiky. Cílem práce je zhodnotit fenomén migrace z různých úhlů pohledu: náboženského, filosofického, evropského (tzn. vnímání migrace z pohledu Evropské unie), snažit se tak identifikovat hlavní přínosy migrace lidské společnosti, respektive obyvatelům hostitelských zemí, a analyzovat důvody, které jsou příčinou převážně negativního vyznění migrace v současné době. Text bakalářské práce je rozdělen na teoretickou a analytickou část. V první kapitole je popsán fenomén migrace, s konkrétním zaměřením na vztah migrace a lidských práv, vztah migrace a náboženství a především problém muslimské migrace. Kapitola popíše též historii migrace a zaměří se na různé typy migrace - mezinárodní, vnitřní a interní migraci, dobrovolnou a nucenou migraci a dlouhodobou a krátkodobou migraci. Druhá kapitola je věnována problematice filosofie a etiky migrace. Je analyzován vztah migrace a rozvoje, s cílem odpovědět na otázku, zda je migrace spíše příležitostí či hrozbou. Prostor je věnován též filosofické reflexi migrace a etickému zdůvodnění migrační politiky. Tato kapitola teoretické části se věnuje též zkoumání vlivu migrace na Schengenský prostor. V analytické části je proveden kvantitativní výzkum ve formě dotazníkového šetření, v jehož rámci je zhodnoceno, jaké jsou postoje Poláků k migraci a potenciální přínosy migrace pro Polskou republiku z pohledu veřejnosti. Jako hlavní nástroj sběru dat je použít dotazník. Hlavními použitými metodami jsou metody deskripce a analýzy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of migration and world migration policy. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the phenomenon of migration from different perspectives: religious, philosophical, European (ie. perception of migration from the perspective of the European Union), try to identify the main benefits of migration for human society and host countries, and analyze the reasons of the negative tone of migration at present. The text of the bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The first chapter describes the phenomenon of migration, with a specific focus on the relationship between migration and human rights, the relationship between migration and religion, and especially the problem of Muslim migration. The chapter also describes the history of migration and focuses on different types of migration - international and internal migration, voluntary and forced migration and long-term and short-term migration. The second chapter is devoted to the issue of philosophy and ethics of migration. The relationship between migration and development is analyzed in order to answer the question of whether migration is more of an opportunity or a threat. The space is also devoted to the philosophical reflection on migration and the ethical justification of migration policy. This chapter of the theoretical part is also devoted to the study of the impact of migration on the Schengen area. In the analytical part, a quantitative research is conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey, which evaluates the attitudes of Poles to migration and the potential benefits of migration for the Republic of Poland from the public's point of view. A questionnaire is used as the main tool for data collection. The main methods used are methods of description and analysis.
