Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to describe the issue of domestic violence. In its first part, it explains the typical signs, forms, and causes of domestic violence as well as the perpetrators' characteristics. It also shows the applicable laws that are aimed to protect victims and outlines the role of non-profit institutions in prevention and victims' protection.
