Cooperation between public and private sector in a tourism destination – case study Prague – Old town

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Spolupráce veřejného a soukromého sektoru v destinaci – případová studie Praha – Staré Město“ je zhodnocení spolupráce mezi klíčovými aktéry cestovního ruchu v oblasti Praha – Staré Město. První část je zaměřena na vymezení aktérů cestovního ruchu, kteří jsou obecně v destinaci přítomni a na teoretické základy spolupráce v destinacích. Druhá část je případovou studií v Praze – Starém městě, kde v návaznosti na teoretická východiska je hodnocena spolupráce v této konkrétní oblasti na základě provedeného výzkumného šetření.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis “Cooperation between public and private sector in a tourism destination – case study Prague – Old Town” is to evaluate the cooperation between key tourism actors in the area Prague Old Town. The first part is concentrated on definition of tourism actors that are generally present in a destination and on describing the theoretical basis of cooperation in destinations. The second part is the case study on Prague – Old Town where as follow-up to theoretical basis the cooperation in this specific area is evaluated on the grounds of the research.
