Abstract:

The aim of my diploma thesis is to characterize the international development of currency exchange market Forex with individual tools or agents that influenced its functionality. My diploma theis is divided into three individual chapters, which relate to each other and are logically connected with their subheads. First chapter is represented by introduction into the problem of the Forex. We enlighten the function, structure and financial tools of exchange market and try to introduce closer the financial institutions connected with the process of functioning of the Forex. In the second part of my work, we are going to pay attention to the factors, which can influence the development of currency exchange. We can offer a wiew into a qualitative and quantitative aspekt of currency rate or parity relationships in the prognosis of currency rate etc. This chapter also brings comparison of theories of currency rate. We have chosen those, which map the most videspread situation . In the final chapter we analyse also up to date problem, that means expected development of currency during the time of loan crisis .

Abstract:

Cieľom dipomovej práce je charakterizovať medzinárodný devízový trh s jednotlivými nástrojmi, či faktormi, ktoré jeho funkčnosť ovplyvňujú. Diplomová práca je rozdelená na tri samostatné kapitoly, ktoré však navzájom spolu súvisia a sú logicky prepojené s podkapitolami. Prvá kapitola predstavuje úvod do problematiky medzinárodného devízového trhu. Objasňujeme v nej funkcie, štruktúru i finančné nástroje devízového trhu a bližšie predstavíme finančné inštitúcie zapojené do procesu fungovania medzinárodného devízového trhu. V ďalšej časti práce sme zamerali pozornosť na faktory, ktoré vplývajú na vývoj devízového kurzu. Prinášame v nej pohľad na kvantitatívnu a kvalitatívnu stránku menového kurzu, či paritné vzťahy prognózovania devízového kurzu atď. Táto kapitola prináša aj porovnanie teórií menového kurzu. Vybrali sme tie najrozšírenejšie, ktoré situáciu mapujú. V záverečnej kapitole sme analyzovali aj aktuálny problém, očakávaný vývoj menových párov počas úverovej krízy.
