The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 posed unprecedented challenges to various industries worldwide significantly impacting the tourism and hospitality sectors. This thesis explores the multifaceted consequences of the pandemic for businesses engaged in tourism and the hospitality industry. Through comprehensive research and analysis this study examines the disruptive effects of COVID-19 on these sectors investigating both immediate and long-term impacts on travel patterns consumer behaviour revenue models and operational strategies.
