Tax reforms in Slovakia

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the development of a beneficial tax reforms in the Slovak Republic. The work is divided into three parts. This thesis deals with the development and the contribution of tax reforms in the Slovak Republic. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the introductory part of the thesis explains the theoretical categories and context of tax reform. Attention is focused on clarifying the evolution of taxes, the tax system and its components as well as to explain the theoretical basis of tax reforms, their nature and characteristic features. In the analytical part of the thesis, are examined tax reforms interwar period, the post-war period to the present day, showing the necessity and objectives of individual reforms. Realized its own questionnaire survey is the perception of respondents rated tax reforms and changes in the tax system. At the end of the thesis, are summarized the results of the examination of the proposal and other possible directions of changes in the tax system with positive impact on its further development.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá vývojom a prínosom daňových reforiem v Slovenskej republike. Práca je rozdelená do troch častí. V úvodnej časti práce sú vysvetlené teoretické kategórie a súvislosti daňových reforiem. Pozornosť je zameraná predovšetkým na objasnenie vývoja daní, daňového systému a jeho zložiek ako aj na vysvetlenie teoretického základu daňových reforiem, ich podstaty a charakteristických čŕt. V analytickej časti sú skúmané daňové reformy medzivojnového obdobia, povojnového obdobia až po súčasnosť s poukázaním na nevyhnutnosť a ciele jednotlivých reforiem. Realizovaným vlastným dotazníkovým prieskumom je hodnotené vnímanie respondentmi daňových reforiem a zmien v daňovom systéme. V závere práce sú zosumarizované výsledky skúmania a návrh ďalších možných smerov zmien daňového systému s pozitívnym dopadom na jeho ďalší vývoj.
