Abstract:
Tato práce je zaměřena na empirické testování platnosti vybraných vztahů vyplývajících z rakouské teorie hospodářského cyklu (ABCT). Zvláštní pozornost je věnována statkům dlouhodobé spotřeby. Z ABCT vyplývá, že změna úrokové míry či dostupnosti úvěrů by měla mít vliv na relativní cenu, spotřebu a výrobu statků dlouhodobé spotřeby. This paper focuses on empirical analysis of selected relationships derived from the Austrian Business Cycle Theory (ABCT). Special attention is paid to consumer durable goods. ABCT suggests that change in the rate of interest or credit availability induces change in relative consumption, production, and relative price of durable goods.
