Předmětem diplomové práce jsou gradientní minimalizační metody. Nejprve se věnovuje základům konvexní analýzy. Práce definuje úlohu matematického programování a zabývá se tříděním extremálních úloh a metod. Následně vysvětluje některé metody určování délky kroku. Gradient minimizing methods are the topic of the thesis. First it devotes bases of the convex analysis. The thesis defines problem mathematical programming and deals with the classification of extremization problems and methods. Then it explains various methods of lenght of step.
