Repertoire of the musical theater in Brno in the second half of the 18th century
Abstract:
Předkládaná práce se zabývá provozem hudebního divadla v Brně ve druhé polovině 18. století. Jejím cílem je zhodnotit dosavadní výzkum vymezené problematiky a rozšířit jej o nové poznatky z pramenů. Má nastínit operní provoz a jeho proměny v průběhu padesáti let v kontextu divadelních ředitelů se zřetelem na repertoár hudebního divadla.
Abstract:
The thesis presents the production of musical theater in Brno in the second half of the 18th century. The goal is to assess existing research to define the issues and to expand to new findings from the sources. The work includes the summary of opera production and its changes going through fifty years in the context of theater directors with respect to the repertoire of musical theater.
