Family and its current social pedagogical issues

Abstract:

Diplomová práce si všímá přístupu sociálního pracovníka k řešené problematice optikou teoretických východisek a nových náhledů na rodinu jakožto stavební prvek společnosti. V teoretické části se autor zaměřuje na vymezení a ukotvení problematiky s cílem lehčího pochopení řešeného tématu. Přínosem této části je zmapování teorie v ucelené formě a vhodné zarámování získaných vědomostí jak nezainteresovaných čtenářů, tak i samotného autora, který problematiku zpracovává pro vlastní ucelený vhled do tohoto fenoménu s cílem lepší orientace v případech krizových situací, kterými rodina prochází a se kterými se autor setkává během své profese. Autor vybral pro dosažení cíle způsob permanentního studia dostupných análů, jimiž disponuje český knižní trh a jež zhodnotil jako přínosné pro status quo české společnosti z hlediska sociologické interpretace. Ve finální empirické části se autor zaměřil na komparaci teoretických vědomostí s kvantitativním výzkumem a s kazuistikou rodin z autorova okolí. Takto získané poznatky bude autor aplikovat do své profese a konfrontovat je s praxí.

Abstract:

The thesis concentrates on an approach of a social worker to the matter of alcoholism, applying knowledge of its theoretical grounds and respecting new perspectives of a family as a main element of society. In the theoretical part the author focuses on definition and framing of the matter in order to provide a basic understanding of the topic. A merit of this section is to make a summary of the theoretical information with a goal to facilitate its usage in a daily practice and prospective critical situations, not only for the author during her work but also for potential readers. For this to achieve the author chose a method of a permanent study of all sources that are currently available in the Czech Republic and that she considers valid for sociological interpretation of the status quo of Czech society. In the final empirical section the author focuses on the comparison of the theoretical knowledge with case reports of families from the author's neighborhood. Final findings will then be used by author in her daily work and confronted with reality.
