Spiritual dimension of a schoolculture at primary school on the example of the Czech Republic. Contribution to the discussion from the religious-pedagogical point of view.

Abstract:

Cílem práce je teoreticky zdůvodnit a popsat spirituální dimenzi v kultuře školy, prokázat, že je také empiricky zachytitelná, a to diferencovaným způsobem, tedy odpovědět na otázku, jakým způsobem je vnímatelná aktéry školy. V teoretické části vychází autorka z analýzy pojmů „hodnota“, „duchovní hodnota“, „spiritualita“. Dospívá k závěru, že duchovní hodnoty jsou vnějším objektivizovaným nasměrováním spirituálního projevu člověka a mohou se tedy stát například zacílením vzdělávacího úsilí a vzdělávacím obsahem. Dále identifikuje na základě odvolání na stávající české i zahraniční teoretické studie spiritualitu jako antropologickou konstantu přítomnou také v kultuře školy. V tvůrčí části práce vytváří autorka nástroj pro empirický výzkum spirituální dimenze v kultuře školy, a to modifikací evaluačního dotazníku orientovaného na vnímání a hodnoty (WWSE) K. Wilda položkami, které v něm posilují přítomnost oblastí spirituality podle Martinové. Posléze vřazuje jeho empirické nasazení do kontextu evaluačního projektu Rozvoje školy orientovaného na vnímání a hodnoty. Samotný empirický výzkum má charakter explorativní studie. V šesti ZŠ zkoumá vnímání spirituálního rozměru kultury školy učiteli, kteří ji reflektují jako realitu a jako ideální stav. Ve výzkumu používá kombinaci kvantitativních a kvalitativních prvků. Dospívá k závěru, že výzkum potvrdil možnost empiricky zachytit spirituální rozměr v kultuře školy i konkrétní oblasti, v nichž může být impulsem k rozvoji školy. Výzkum také naznačil indikátory tendencí možného přesahu přes prostor konkrétní školy. Vzhledem k explorativnímu charakteru výzkumu přijímá autorka jeho závěry jako nově hypoteticky položené otázky pro směry dalšího zpřesňujícího zkoumání.

Abstract:

The main goal of this thesis is substantiation and description of spiritual dimension of a school culture. This dissertation is going to show that the spiritual dimension can be shown through the empirically based research. The author tries to answer the question about the way in which the spiritual dimension is perceived by the school participants. The base of the theoretical part is a concept of values, spiritual values and the spirituality. The author comes to the conclusion that the spiritual value is the external orientation of the spiritual expression of a man. It means that spiritual values can be objectives of education and educational programs. Spirituality is defined as an antropological constant, which is present also in the school culture. This fact is demonstrated by the Czech and the international studies. The creative part forms the tool for the empirical research of the spiritual dimensions of the school culture. The author modifies the K. Wild´s evaluative questionarie which is aimed at comprehension of values and supplements it by items, which are connected with the spirituality- acording to Martinová. The author integrates this ideas into the evaluative project of the development of school, which is aimed at the sense and values. The empirical research has a character of an explorative thesis. The spiritual dimension of a school culture is investigated at six elementary schools. It is reflected by teachers from the perspective of reality and the perspective of the ideal situation. The author uses the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods for her research. The research confirmes the possibility of empirical detectionof the spiritual dimension in a school culture . The concrete areas in which the school culture could be developed are shown. The conclusions of the investigation are going to be taken as a new orientation of the more specific research.
