Tato práce si klade za cíl vytvořit obecný přehled o přechodech Židů přes státní hranici v okolí Náchoda po Druhé světové válce. V první části práce je nejprve představena historie Židů od vzniku náboženství až do doby vzniku samostatného Izraele v roce 1948. The main goal of this thesis is to establish a general survey of Jewish crossing over the state border after World War II in the area of Náchod and its surroundings. The first part begins with the history of Jews since the very beginning of their religion till the establishment of independent Israel in 1948, stressing the era of Nazism as the main cause of Jewish migration.
