Region Kaspického moře tvoří pět států, Ázerbájdžán, Ruská federace, Kazachstán, Turkmenistán a Íránská islámská republika. O Kaspickém moři se dlouhodobě vede debata, jestli je možné ho definovat jako moře nebo jako jezero. Abstract:
This thesis aims to analyze the history of the Caspian Sea region which is formed by five states, Azerbaijan, Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Islamic Republic of Iran. Furthermore, significant historic periods as The Great Game and the disintegration of The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics are covered.
