Determination of daily keratometric deviation

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá stanovováním denní odchylky keratometrických hodnot, konkrétně poloměru křivosti přední plochy rohovky. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány vybrané oční modely, jejich vzájemné odlišnosti a jejich historický vývoj, v souvislosti s novými poznatky a přístupy k optickému systému oka. Popis rohovky, jako hlavního optického média figurujícího v této práci, je uveden z pohledu matematického. Poslední oblastí teoretické části práce, je popis vybraných metod měření parametrů rohovky či celého předního segmentu oka. Důraz je pak při popisu kladen na přístroje, použité ve výzkumné části této práce. Výzkum byl prováděn po dobu jednoho roku a měření probíhalo na topografu a autokeratotonopachymetru. Byl orientován na měření poloměru křivosti přední plochy rohovky. Výsledky jsou zpracovány do grafů a tabulek a srovnávány s výsledky jiných studii v diskuzi.

Abstract:

This thesis is about determination daily keratometric deviations; concretely it is focused on radius of curvature in first place of cornea. Theoretical part contains description of selected models of human eyes, differences between them and historical development. Cornea stands here as a main optical medium, so thesis also describe cornea from mathematical point of view. The last theoretical part of thesis is about used methods and their description, which we use for measuring corneal parameters, or parameters of the anterior eye segment. The emphasis was placed on description of used measuring apparatus. The research data were collected during one year and all the results were taken from topography and autokeratometry measurement. The research was focused on the first place of the cornea and her radius of curvature. All results are plotted into the charts and graphs.
