Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Využití konverzačních deníků na základní škole k prohloubení znalosti anglického jazyka“ se zabývá posouzením vlivu konverzačních deníků na zlepšení úrovně znalosti anglického jazyka.V úvodu teoretické části je definován pojem konverzačního deníku. Dále je popsána historie používání konverzačních deníků a druhy deníků. V teoretické části je největší důraz kladen na přínos a případné nedostatky konverzačních deníků. Přínos je posuzován z hlediska žáků i učitele. V teoretické části je rovněž popsána věková kategorie adolescentů, aby byl poskytnut teoretický podklad praktické části.Praktická část se zabývá logistikou používání konverzačních deníků. Další část práce je věnována jazykovému rozvoji žáků, který je posuzován z hlediska rozvoje slovní zásoby a délky psaného projevu. Jazykový rozvoj žáků je rovněž zhodnocen na základě testu na závěr pololetí. Následující část je věnována odezvám žáků na použití konverzačního deníku na základě výsledků získaných z dotazníku. Opomenut nebyl ani osobnostní rozvoj žáků a učitele, kterému je věnována poslední kapitola.

Abstract:

The thesis “Using Dialogue Journals in Basic School to Enhance English Language Learning” evaluates the influence of dialogue journals in English language learning. The theoretical part defines the term dialogue journal, it applications and benefits. The thesis deals with the history and types of dialogue journals. The biggest emphasis of the theoretical part is devoted to the benefits and possible drawbacks of dialogue journals. The benefits of the dialogue journals are considered from the perspective of the pupils as well as of the teacher. The theoretical part also describes the age category of adolescents in order to provide the theoretical basis for the practical part. The practical part is devoted to the logistics of the dialogue journal. The thesis deals with the language development of the pupils, which is evaluated on the basis of vocabulary and length of writing. The linguistic development of the pupils is also evaluated on the basis of the midterm test at the end of the semester. The following part is devoted to the reaction of the pupils on the use of dialogue journal, based on the results obtained from a questionnaire. The last chapter deals with the personal development of the pupils and the teacher.
