Iniciativa Pásu a stezky a její evropská dimenze: příklad Itálie

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o iniciativě Pásu a stezky (Belt and Road Initiative, BRI), kterou v roce 2013 představil čínský prezident Si Ťin-pching. Záměrem této iniciativy je propojit země Asie, Evropy a Afriky pomocí nových obchodních cest, pozemních i mořských, za účelem politické a ekonomické spolupráce. S iniciativou Pásu a stezky jsou spjaty různé faktory, ekonomické, společenské či politické. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zkoumat oblast čínských přímých zahraničních investic (PZI) v Evropy a vliv iniciativy Pásu a stezky na jejich výši v čase. V rámci případové studie byl do bakalářské práce vybrán případ Itálie, jež má pro Čínu strategickou pozici jakožto vstupní brána do Evropy. V této části práce je zkoumán pohyb čínských přímých zahraničních investic do Itálie v rámci iniciativy a jsou zde brány v potaz politické faktory, které rozhodují o tom, jakým způsobem spolupráce mezi Čínou a Itálií uvnitř iniciativy Pásu a stezky probíhá nyní, a do jaké míry bude spolupráce probíhat i dále v budoucnu.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis discusses the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which was introduced by Chinese President Xi Jinping in the year 2013. The intention of this initiative is to connect the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa using new land and maritime trade routes for the purpose of political and economic cooperation. Various economic, social and political factors are related to the Belt and Road Initiative. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to explore the area of Chinese foreign direct investments (FDI) in Europe and the influence of the Belt and Road Initiative on their amount over time. As part of the case study in this bachelor’s thesis, the case of Italy was chosen, as it has a strategic position for China as the gateway to Europe. This part of the thesis examines the flow of Chinese foreign direct investment to Italy within the BRI and considers the political factors that determine how cooperation between China and Italy is taking place now and to what extend cooperation will take place in the future.
