Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na institut mediace ve sporech týkajících se rodinného práva. Je zde zahrnut historický přehled, podstata a cíle mediace jako celku, včetně procesního hlediska. Dále je v práci obsažena osoba mediátora a podmínky výkonu této profese. Mediace je srovnávána s klasickým civilním procesem a je nastíněno, jaké má proti němu benefity. This thesis focuses on the institution of mediation in family law disputes. It includes a historical overview, the nature and objectives of mediation as a whole, including the procedural aspect. Furthermore, the thesis includes the person of the mediator and the conditions of practice of this profession.
