Crime scene inspection with a focus on the most common mistakes of police officers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na ohledání místa činu. Cílem práce je demonstrovat problematiku kriminalistické metody ohledání, včetně taktiky využívané při samotném ohledání, a poskytnout přehled o používaných metodách kriminalistické dokumentace. Dále prokázat případná rizika znehodnocení důkazů a stop příslušníků policejních orgánů při jejich provádění. Teoretická část práce vychází z analýzy dostupných literárních zdrojů a materiálů. Praktická část práce se zabývá porovnáním reálného anonymizovaného případu pochybení při ohledání mrtvoly a teoreticky správného postupu dle platných právních norem a kriminalistických příruček. Součástí praktické části je polostrukturovaný rozhovor s kriminalistickým technikem, jenž si klade za cíl ověřit, anebo vyvrátit předepsané teoretické postupy využívané v praxi při ohledání místa činu. V závěru jsou shrnuty výsledky vlastního šetření.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on investigating the scene of the crime. The aim of the work is to demonstrate the issue of forensic investigation methods, including the tactics used during the investigation itself, and provide an overview of employed forensic documentation methods. Furthermore, demonstrate the possible risks of spoiling evidence and traces of members of the police authorities during their implementation. The theoretical part of the work is based on the analysis of available literary sources and materials. The practical part of the work deals with the comparison of a real anonymized case of misconduct during the examination of a corpse and the theoretically correct procedure according to valid legal standards and criminalistic manuals. One part of the practical part is a semi-structured interview with a forensic technician, which aims to verify or refute the prescribed theoretical procedures used in practice when examining a crime scene. The results of the own investigation are summarized in the conclusion.
