Transport infrastructure pricing in the EU

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zpoplatněním dopravní infrastruktury v Evropské unii. První kapitola je zaměřena na historii zpoplatnění a charakteristiku transevropských dopravních sítí. Druhá a třetí kapitola se zabývají vývojem jednotlivých infrastruktur a následně analýzou zpoplatnění silniční a železniční infrastruktury. V závěrečné kapitole jsou provedeny výpočty poplatků v silniční a železniční dopravě za současných podmínek, dále jsou navrženy nové možnosti zpoplatnění a na závěr jsou provedeny nové výpočty zpoplatnění podle navržených nových možností.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the pricing of transport infrastructure in the European Union. The first chapter focuses on the history and characteristics of the European transport networks. The second and third chapters deal with the development of individual infrastructure types and consequently, with the analysis of road and rail infrastructure charges. The final chapter introduces presents calculations of charges for road and rail transport under current conditions, and also includes new options of pricing. The new calculations presented in the conclusion were made according to the proposed pricing options.
