Factors influencing the attitude of pupils to lessons of the second level of elementary school czech language and literature

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá faktory, které ovlivňují postoje žáků 9. ročníku k hodinám Českého jazyka a literatury, konkrétně literatury. Teoretická část objasňuje pojmy zabývající se danou problematikou, konkrétně postoji, funkci postojů, utváření postojů, jejich druhy a také postoji žáků ke čtenářství. Seznamuje také s mezinárodními výzkumy, které se zaobíraly problematikou čtenářství u žáků. Vzhledem k empirické části práce nás konkrétněji seznamuje s žákem nacházejícím se v devátém ročníku základní školy. Zmiňuje také specifika předmětu Český jazyk a literatura v podmínkách českého školství. Empirická část práce se věnuje dvěma fázím výzkumu, které jsou zaměřeny na faktory, které ovlivňují postoje žáků k hodinám Českého jazyka a literatury, specificky literatury. Cílem práce je pomocí dotazníkového šetření mezi žáky zjistit, jakou roli hrají vybrané faktory v jejích postojích k hodinám literatury (ČJL). Dílčím cílem je pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s vyučujícími českého jazyka a literatury, zjistit, jaké faktory, které ovlivňují postoje žáků k jejich výuce, vnímají nejvíce oni samotní, jak se projevují a jak s nimi pracují oni samotní.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the factors that influence the attitudes of 9th grade pupils towards lessons of Czech language and literature, specifically literature. The theoretical part clarifies the concepts dealing with the issue, namely attitudes, the function of attitudes, the formation of attitudes, their types and also the attitudes of students to reading. It also introduces international research that has dealt with the issue of reading in students. Due to the empirical part of the work, it introduces us more specifically to a pupil in the ninth grade of primary school. The specifics of the subject Czech language and literature in the conditions of Czech education are mentioned. The empirical part of the thesis deals with two phases of research, which are focused on factors that influence students' attitudes to Czech language and literature lessons, specifically literature. The aim of the work is to use a questionnaire survey among students to find out what role selected factors play in its attitudes to literature lessons (CJL). The partial goal is to use a semi-structured interview with teachers of Czech language and literature to find out what factors that affect students' attitudes to their teaching, are perceived most by themselves, how they manifest themselves and how they work with them themselves.
