A Meeting Place – The Open Frontier. Art Brut Phenomenon in the aesthetic education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá art brut jako možným inspiračním zdrojem esteticko-výchovného působení. Nachází paralely mezi fenoménem art brut a mezi estetickou výchovou, které následně zvažuje při promýšlení možných přínosů práce s fenoménem art brut v hodinách estetické výchovy. Přistupuje k art brut jako didaktickému prostředku, který nám pomůže dosáhnout výchovně-vzdělávacích cílů – rozvoj tvořivosti, rozvoj schopnosti uvažovat o tvorbě v kontextu, rozvoj sebepoznání a sociální stránky osobnosti. Součástí práce jsou návrhy ilustračních lekcí k těmto cílům.

Abstract:

The Thesis focuses on Art Brut as a possible source of inspiration of the aesthetical and educational formation. It founds parallels between the phenomenon Art Brut and the aesthetic education, which it than reconsiders in evaluation of the possible merits of the work with the Art Brut phenomenon in aesthetics lessons. It approaches Art Brut as a didactical means which can help us reach our educational goals – development of creativity, of ability to consider oneself in context, of knowledge of one self and the social side of own personality. Illustrational lessons are added into the work’s body as propositions of how to achieve the set goals.
