Text pojednává o rostoucí důležitosti problematiky životního prostředí v oblasti bezpečnostních studií, zejména se zaměřuje na zapojení Programu OSN pro životní prostředí, UNEP, do řešení environmentálních výzev v ozbrojených konfliktech.
