Impression of Internet on printed media

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce bude definovat a prokázat přednosti/zápory koexistence tištěného produktu (MF Dnes) & jejího internetového portálu (www.iDnes.cz) v určitém období. Metodou mé práce je analýza a následná predikce vývoje, vycházející ze 2 aspektů jako jsou dnes již známé komunikační technologie (SMS, informace v novinách, informace v mobilu, atd.) a také zájem přijímacích o specifické obsahy. V mé práci se budu snažit predikovat informace o budoucím vývoji bytí tištěných titulů na českém trhu a pokusit o srovnání se zahraničním trhem. V první kapitole jsem provedla základní členění mediatypů dle technologických aspektů. Dále jsem srovnávala všechna média z hlediska jejich vlivu. V druhé kapitole jsem provedla analýzu zpravodajských serverů. Třetí kapitolu jsem se rozhodla pojmout jako predikci vývoje tištěného média do budoucnosti z hlediska obsahu a zpoplatňování. Dále jsem ověřovala názor skupiny respondentů na budoucnost a konzumaci tištěných médií.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis will define and demonstrate the advantages / disadvantages of co-existence of a printed product (MF Dnes) & its web portal (www.iDnes.cz) in a given period. The method of my work is given the analysis and prediction of development, based on two aspects such as the now well-known communication technology (SMS, information in newspapers, information on mobile phones, etc.) and an interest in receiving the specific content. In my work I will try to predict the future development of the information being printed media in the Czech market and try to compare the foreign market. In the first chapter, I carried out the basic layout of the media according to technological aspects, such as audiovisual and online media. Next, I compared all of the media in terms of their impact because the media are dominated by technology targeted agenda setting. In the second chapter, I analyzed the news sites and their online versions, here I compared the content, visuals, the availability of both types of news media. The third chapter, I decided to hold a forecast of the future of print media in terms of content and pricing that is highly topical issue in all publishing houses and looking for the right business model. Next, I examined the group of respondents view the future of print media and consumption, the results are useful for further finding a business model for the Czech Republic.
