Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá stářím a stárnutím seniorů ve Zlínském kraji a možnostech, které jsou seniorům poskytovány pro plnohodnotnější využití jejich volného času. V první kapitole teoretické části se seznámíme s pojmy stáří a stárnutí, vymezíme si pojem senior, změny, které proces stárnutí doprovázejí a možnosti, které senior má pro přípravu a zvládání stáří. Presented master thesis deals with age and aging of elderly in region of Zlin and options which are provided for elderly for more fullfilling utilization of their time. In first chapter of theoretical part we learn about age and aging, learn about the term senior, changes which go along with the aging process and options which senior has when preparing for and dealing with aging.
