Corporate culture and social clima in the Středočeské vodárny Inc.

Abstract:

Podniková kultura je důležitým nástrojem úspěšného podnikání. Zároveň se odráží na takových faktorech jako je bezpečnost práce a zákoník práce. Úroveň podnikové kultury souvisí s loajalitou a společenskou odpovědností zaměstnanců. Dobře postavená podniková kultura ovládá takové hodnoty jako je etika, přesvědčení či odpovědnost, motivuje zaměstnance, což se odráží na jejich výkonu. Podnikovou kulturu je potřeba tvořit každý den, což v základu představuje přístup vedení společnosti k zaměstnancům jejich informovanost o dění a budoucnosti firmy, či v podpoře udržitelného rozvoje formou vzdělávání zaměstnanců. Cílem této práce bylo zjistit a analyzovat názory zaměstnanců Středočeských vodáren a.s na jednotlivé složky podnikové kultury a navrhnout řešení možných problémů odrážející se v negativních odezvách respondentů. Stanovenými kritérii byly bezpečnost práce, zákoník práce, odborovou organizaci, vztahy na pracovišti, přístup vedoucích pracovníků k zaměstnancům, sociální program společnosti, či jejich uspokojení s dosahovanou výši mzdy, nebo pohled na problematiku postavení žen a mužů a jejich spravedlivého odměňování. Tyto názory byly získány pomocí dotazníku vyplněného 68 % respondentů.

Abstract:

Corporate culture is the important instrument of successful enterprise. At the same time it is reflected in such factors as safety of work and labour code. The level of corporate culture is related with loyalty and social responsibility of the staff. Well designed corporate culture controls such values as ethics, conviction or responsibility, and motivates the staff, which is reflected in their achievements. Corporate culture must be formed every day which basically presents the attitude of corporate management to the staff. It should ensure their access to information about activities and future of the enterprise and support the development of the enterprise by means of continious staff training. The aim of this work was to find and analyse the opinions of the staff of Středočeské vodárny a.s. on particular components of corporate culture, and suggest the solution of possible problems reflected by negative feelings of the respondents. The surveyed criteria were safety of work, labour code, trade unions, personal relationships at work, the approach of the managers to the emploees, the social programme of the company, their satisfaction with the payment, or their wiev of problematics of positoin of men and women and their just remuneration. The opinions were obtained in the form of a questionaire fulfilled by 68 % of personnel.
